The old stable at this antique farm house is nowadays a magnificent wine cellar where you can pick out your favourite bottle! The lovely garden with a private pool and the authentic, rustic furniture inside guarantee a wonderful vacation for those appreciating the real Andalusia. The property is located at only 800 m from Santaella and just a half hour drive from Cordoba. Air conditioning in the living room and corridor.
Looking out on the Cordoban countryside, you will enjoy its secluded, beautiful garden and private pool (9m x 5m long and 1.4m - 2.2m) with lawn. Relax on the sun loungers and read that book you never finished! A shaded pergola is a very suitable place for the outside meals with a barbecue and an oven provided. The garden is separated from the house by a cul-de-sac road that led to the village in olden times. The property is located at only 800 m from Santaella and 35 km from Cordoba.
The adorable former farm house dates of the year 1902 and has been totally restored to its original state by the owner, keeping the traditional and rustic materials, the beamed ceilings, and using old farm implements to adorn the walls. The living room, the open kitchen, and the bedrooms are all set on one floor. The living room has an open fireplace, an old wooden dining table for 10 people, a sofa, a sofa-bed, radio, and television. The kitchen is equipped with a 4 ringed hob, a microwave, refrigerator/freezer, washing machine, and the necessary furniture. All the bedrooms are decorated in traditional style with Andalusian colours. The master bedroom has a double bed, another has 2 single beds, and a third bedroom has 1 single bed. The bathroom (shower, WC, and basin) is shared by the three bedrooms. The lower floor used to be the stable and serves nowadays as a wine cellar. You can just pick out the bottle of your preference and drink now, pay later. This arched cellar with an open living room and radio-CD player offers the perfect setting to spend long nights drinking and talking with friends or family.
Note: there is air conditioning in the living room and corridor that leads to the bedrooms. The cool air of the corridor should be noticed in the bedrooms.

Hemos pasado unos dÃas fantásticos en este cortijo. Hemos disfrutado como niños de sus instalaciones, aunque nos ha faltado saborear el encanto de su fenemenal bodega. A la casa no le falta un detalle y a la piscina aun menos. Hemos disfrutado de su fenomenal barbacoa pasando unas veladas fantasticas en esas noches fresquitas. La verdad es que le pondria un pero a la casa y es el no haber podido pasar alli mas tiempo. Lo único que me queda es felicitar a Trini y Juan por su extraordinaria casa. Un abrazo de corazón y espero veros pronto denuevo.

Un fin de semana de ensueño
Es justamente lo que buscábamos. Hemos pasado este último fin de semana de ensueño. La casa una maravilla en todos los aspectos y tiene un amplio jardÃn con piscina y barbacoa; esta última la hemos disfrutado a tope, cosa que no podemos decir de la piscina, claro está, porque estamos en febrero pero no duden que la disfrutaremos si sus propietarios, que por cierto son un encanto, nos hacen un hueco en verano, asà que ya nos pondremos en contacto. Por cierto, el propietario Juan, nos preparó una paella a petición de mi familia y mÃa que no dudo volveremos a saborear. Un saludo para ti y tu familia.

Highly recommendable
We spent two weeks in this fantastic house. The house itself, its furnishing and garden with pool are excellent and typical for the region. The owner, Juan, and his family took care of us with a unique hospitality. We were lucky to participate in the procession in Santaella, which only takes place every 5 years. Santaella is a nice village (1km away) which was even more charming during the fiesta. There are nice town in the surrounding (La Rambla, Ecija, Carmona) and from the house you can reach Cordoba (40 km), Sevilla (90 km) and Granada (140 km) within reasonable time. We were overwhelmed by the kindness of the people, the nice cottage and the landscape in Andalucia. Highly recommendable and we will come back, since there is a lot more to see.

We hebben genoten!
We hebben met 6 personen genoten van het huis en vooral ook van het heerlijke zwembad met tuin. De ontvangst was allerhartelijkst. Juan (eigenaar) heeft ons van zijn eigengemaakte witte wijn laten proeven.

Séjour inoubiable et adresse à recommander pour découvrir une belle région rurale de l'Andalousie
Ancienne ferme aménagée et décorée avec goût (objets anciens, vieux outils agricoles...), offrant confort et authenticité dans un beau cadre de verdure au milieu des vergers d'oliviers. Le jardin offre une tonnelle ombragée où l'on peut prendre les repas près de la piscine spacieuse et très bien entretenue. La situation de la maison permet de concilier repos dans un cadre champêtre et découverte d'une très belle région de l'Andalousie : Cordoue et aussi des villes très intéressantes situées un peu en dehors des grands circuits touristiques, notamment Ecija, Priego de Cordoba, et Montilla, où l'on peut découvrir le fameux vin Montilla Moriles. Le propriétaire nous a accueilli très chaleureusement et nous a fait visiter la ville de Santaella toute proche et ses monuments baroques, ainsi que ses vergers d'oliviers et la coopérative de production de l'huile d'olive. Il nous a également préparé une délicieuse paella que nous avons dégustée dans une ambiance conviviale. Un séjour inoubliable...

Merci Juan pour ce superbe séjour dans votre charmante maison. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié votre gentillesse et votre fameuse Paella! La maison est à proximité de tous les centres dâintérêt (Cordoue, Séville, Carmona, grenade). Le jardin est magnifique. Le concept de la cave à vin dispo est très sympa. Très bel endroit
Séjour super, maison bien située pour visiter les grandes villes andalouses. Un hôte Juan qui nous aura fait partager sa connaissance de la gastronomie et des oliviers au top. Très bel endroit.
