This traditional cortijo has a special place in our heart. Why? Because of its authenticity and the fact that the villa is clearly loved by its owners. The grandfather of the current owner constructed the house almost 100 years ago. Now it has been carefully restored and provided with an attractive private swimming pool.
This lovely semi-detached farmhouse is located in an elevated position in the hills around Frigiliana (3 km) and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area out to the Mediterranean. The whitewashed village is a 5-10 minute drive away. Enjoy your alfresco dinner at the lovely vine covered porch; a barbecue is provided. The kidney shaped swimming pool (3.5x7.5 m) is situated on the same level and very inviting! For those who wish to discover Andalusia, the location offers good possibilities for a day trip to Granada or Malaga. Closer, the Nerja caves are a must and the typical villages of the Axarquia are also highly recommended.
Inside, it couldnât be more Andalusian: the house has been restored with expertise and good taste using rustic materials and keeping the original beamed ceiling. Old-time earthenware jars, antique ceramic, and typical furniture emphasise the traditional character of this cortijo. The living/dining room has a wooden dining table, an open fireplace, and satellite-TV. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a 4 ringed gas hob, electric oven, microwave, and fridge/freezer. There are two romantic bedrooms (one double, one twin) on the same floor. The bathroom has an over bath shower, WC, and washbasin. The washing machine is located on the roof terrace.Note: A WiFi internet connection is available (free of charge).

He tenido, junto a mi familia, la oportunidad y el placer de poder alojarme en ésta preciosa casa de campo durante unos dÃas de vacaciones. Sin lugar a dudas la recomiendo. Es perfecta para desconectar del bullicio de la ciudad, del estrés que a diario nos envuelve. Es un lugar tranquilo, muy acogedor y cómodo. Dispone de todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones o una temporada de ensueño, en un enclave estupendo y con unas excelentes vistas. La decoración perfecta, cuidando los detalles, y conservando el encanto de una casa rústica de campo combinándolo con un toque contemporáneo, y dispone de todo lo que necesitamos en nuestro dÃa a dÃa. Sin duda, la mejor elección que he hecho en mucho tiempo, y por supuesto repetiremos.

Dieses Haus ist klein aber fein und sehr sauber! Für Ruhesuchende ideal! Würde es aber nicht für eine Reise zu Viert empfehlen, für ein Paar mit Kindern schon aber nicht vier Erwachsene.
