In the countryside north of Nerja, we discovered this lovely villa set in a quiet and sunny location. Set amidst an avocado fields and olive groves, this lovely villa provides a peaceful country retreat offering splendid views along the surroundings.
The villa is located somewhat northwest of Nerja (5.9 km) and can be reached by a 1.4 km long concrete track with a few sharp curves, passing through lush vegetation and a small river bed right before arriving. The last 300m is an unsurfaced road with some pumps (normal cars can drive without problem but should be careful).Nerja offers splendid beaches, a vast array of facilities and a humming nightlife. There are also beach bars and restaurants opened all year round. For shopping, you can also make a stop at the charming whitewashed village of Frigiliana (3 km), where you will find supermarkets, good restaurants and tapas bars. This area is a walkers' paradise. If you prefer driving, then the pretty white villages of the Axarquia region, the historic caves of Maro and the Alhambra Palace in Granada are just some of the excursions to be enjoyed.Sun loungers await at the terrace that surrounds the pool (7 x 4m and 1.5m - 1.8m deep). For a lazy siesta, you can take shelter from the midday sun under the covered veranda terrace, which is also a perfect setting to enjoy an alfresco meal a barbecue is provided. You will enjoy wonderful views across the mountains and the surrounding countryside.
The interior of the villa is tastefully furnished and decorated, providing a good level of comfort. The villa has all rooms on one floor. From the veranda, there is an access to the living/dining room where you will find 2 sofas, open fireplace, satellite-TV and dining facilities for 6. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, a 4 ringed vitro hob, microwave, oven, washing machine and all kinds of utensils. There are 2 double bedrooms and one twin. One of the double bedrooms has a ensuite bathroom, while the other bedrooms share a shower room.Note: A WiFi internet connection is available, costs dependent on usage, approx. 20 EUR per week. Het huis is mooi en wat afgezonderd gelegen. Erg vriendelijke eigenaren, schitterend uitzicht en sfeervol en goed afgewerkt. Nieuwe keuken en fijn zwembad. Nadelen zijn de erg harde bedden en de wel erg matige waterdruk in de douche. Een vaatwasser zou handig zijn.

Una casa muy comoda en un lugar muy tranquilo
QuerÃamos escaparnos del ruido de la ciudad y lo conseguimos en esta magnifica casa. Las vistas de montes son maravillosas. Solo se oyen a los pájaros. Nos rodeaban limoneros aguacates. Hemos pasado dos semanas fantástica casa acogedora. A la casa no le falta un detalle y a la piscina aun menos. No es muy grande pero para los niños es lo justo. Lo único que me asusto primeramete fué el camino con muchas curvas(10 minutos en coche) pero me acostumbre en seguida. Solo me faltaba internet por wifi pero consueguà un pincho en Nerja. También quiero agradecer de Ralph de la agencia por su colaboracion. Sus respuestas fueron muy rápidas y completas. Lo único que me queda es felicitar a Lola por su extraordinaria casa. Un abrazo de corazón y esperamos verle pronto de nuevo.

Rust, relaxed, heerlijk zwembad
Twee weken heerlijk ontspannen. Het huis ligt heerlijk gelegen. Waarbij je veel privacy ervaart en toch omringd door licht en heel af en toe geluid van de huizen, die op behoorlijke afstand van je zijn, maar er voor zorgen dat je je 's avonds niet alleen voelt. De eigenaresse is super lief. 2 x per week kwam ze langs en liet altijd wat lekker fruit voor ons achter! Wij hadden de koelkast goed gevuld en hebben veel buiten geleefd. 's Avonds lekker BBQ aan en genieten op de veranda van de rust. 's Ochtends wakker worden met het 'gelach' van ezel verder op. Elke dag gezwommen in het heerlijke zwembad! Prima uitvalbasis voor een mix van tochtjes & tranquilo bij het huis. En een top huis als je wil genieten van rust!

Heerlijk rustig en ontspannen verblijf
We hebben heerlijke ontspannen zonnige weken gehad op deze locatie. Mooie omgeving en prachtig huis met weids uitzicht. met name genoten van de balustrade, tuin en zwembad. De lachende grappige ezel was ook bij ons actief. Tijdens ons verblijf was er ook feria in torrox en in nerja: erg leuk. De verhuurster was zeer aardig, vooral voor onze dochter en sprak geen woord Engels. De omgeving is ook zeer betaalbaar: restaurantjes, barretjes met gratis tapas etc. De bergweg naar het huisje is een beetje spannend, maar zeker te doen. Een auto hebben is een must in ieder geval. Enig minpuntje was de geiser op 1 van de 3 slaapkamers, dat herrie maakte in die slaapkamer. Daarbuiten hoorde je het niet. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Super!
Een hele mooie lokatie. De weg ernaartoe was iets minder maar dat hadden we ervoor over om op deze super lokatie te komen. Een aanrader voor rust, een lekker zwembad en een huis waarin echt alles aanwezig was. De bedden waren wat aan de harde kant. Andere minpunten zijn er niet te vinden.

Heerlijk rustig gelegen cortijo
Lekker rustig gelegen huis met veel privacy. Genoten van het zwembad en de prachtige omgeving. Huis ook prima met 2 kleine kinderen. Alleen een tip, een algemene kaart met handige telefoonnummers, zoals dokter, tandarts e.d.

Superbe dépaysement
Très jolie maison avec piscine au milieu de nul part entouré de vignes et d'arbres fruitiers ; un dépaysement total et très très agréable, très proche de Nerja. Un grand merci à Lola la propriétaire. J'espère y revenir.

Een heerlijk huisje
Wat hebben wij genoten. Mevr. Dolores spreek geen woord Engels, maar is erg vriendelijk. En verwende ons idd met fruit. Het huisje ligt afgelegen na een hobbelige onverharde weg. Met een goede auto prima te bereiken. Verder wordt het omringd door plantages met allerlei fruit. Heerlijk rustig. Het zwembad was nog lekker qua temperatuur. Zo leuk, we gaan over een week opnieuw (als ik t schrijf in 2015) hier naartoe.

Très bon sejour
Notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé. Les points positifs : maison fonctionnelle, cadre calme, propriétaire très sympa. Points négatifs : maison trop isolée à presque 10 minutes de la route principale (chemin compliqué à faire en voiture). Nous recommandons l'agence casitas-select, réactivité et sérieux.

Maison au milieu des cannes à sucre des citronniers, orangers, manguiers, avocatiers à 3 km de la route principale, déconseillé aux voitures très basse, chemin de terre sur 300 m.

Heerlijke plek
Een heerlijke, erg rustige plek die we iedereen kunnen aanraden. Je moet even moeite doen om er te komen, maar dan heb je ook wat. Het zwembad was schoon, de ruimte buiten het huis was formidabel evenals het uitzicht. Een klein ideetje: een tafeltennistafel. De ruimte ervoor is er zeker. In de omgeving is genoeg te zien en je bent in 15 minuten in Nerja. Granada was een uur en Malaga 45 minuten.

Fantastic relaxing stay at Lola's lovely Villa
We spent six weeks at Lola's lovely villa to celebrate a special anniversary. First thing to say is the fantastic service we had from the property manager Ralph Delis at Casitas Select . Ralph was so helpful as he helped us set up all the requirements for family flying in and out and was the perfect link to the owner Lola who looked after the villa. Ralph speaks perfect English, answered all our questions quickly with really fast responses and this continued all the way through our holiday. Really impressed here. We had guests flying in and out throughout our stay and Ralph and Lola managed linen changes and room cleaning to match differing arrival days with absolutely no hassle . So to the villa - SLIGHT negative is the approach road don't let this put you off though - The villa is situated in a beautiful spot about 20 mins out from the centre of Nerja, surrounded by Avocado orchards with stunning views of the Rio Seco valley - stand on the terrace by the pool next to the Orange and Lemon trees ( just pick one for your G&T or Sangria) and soak up the views of the mountains to the left and the sea to the right. So quite and relaxing. The approach from the main road is a about 1.8k of single track concrete road - its very steep and rough with sharp bends and the last 3 or 400 meters is really just a dirt track through the farm land approaches - it's ok though - we had an Opel Astra and it coped fine - just don't be surprised. The owner Lola will meet you at the main road and guide you to the villa. The villa itself was beautifully presented - clean fresh and well equipped - It's Lola's villa and she obviously cares about it a lot. She visited once a week during our stay to change bedding, provide clean towels, clean the floors and bathrooms etc - even swept the patio as well. She is such a lovely lady but speaks no English at all - but it's surprising how well we ended up communicating - minor issues she fixed straight away - light bulbs etc, and, for example, we had a leaking sink drain and she had a plumber there the next morning to sort it out. Lovely pool clean and fresh and big enough for a swim but great fun - the grandchildren absolutely loved it. If you want somewhere to unwind and relax this is the place for you - just light the BBQ, pop a bottle and relax.

Wunderschönes bequemes Landhaus, idyllische Lage inmitten von Mangobäumen
Ruhiger, sehr entspannter Urlaub in idyllischer Landschaft geprägt vom Anbau von Mangos und anderem Obst. Das Netz aus landwirtschaftlichen Wegen, Zufahrten zu Gehöften und Villas sowie Wanderwegen ist ideal für Erkundigungen der grünen Umgebung (am besten mit GPS). Das Landhaus mit Pool ist optimal ausgestattet und bietet reichlich Platz auch für 4 bis 5 Personen. Im Schatten der Orangen- und Zitronenbäume am Pool lässt sich eine herrliche Siesta halten. Die sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin kam so 1 bis 2 mal die Woche für die Pflege von Pool und Terrasse und brachte herrliche Mangos mit. Zum Meer und zum Einkauf ins Städtchen Nerja ist es Luftline nur 3 bis 4 km, das letzte Stück der Hauszufahrt ist jedoch eng und nicht befestigt und stellt ans Auto und die Nerven etwas mehr Anforderungen. Aber nach der 50sten Fahrt wird man cool. Für uns sehr gute 3 Wochen in der casa rural "Lola".

Perfect
A clean and comfortable villa set in a stunning landscape among lemon trees. Perfect base for exploring the area or just chilling by the pool. We found the fire a particularly nice touch on the cool nights.
