From the sun-terrace at the first floor level, one of the essences of Andalusia can be appreciated: the many acres of olive groves stretch out until the eye reaches the beautiful backdrop of the Sierra Morena. The good size pool of 7x13 m is also situated on this level. An unpaved country track of 800 m leads to the main entrance which welcomes onto a traditional patio where youâll find a barbecue for alfresco dining. A traditional restaurant is conveniently situated where this track begins. Other gastronomic experiences can be enjoyed at one of the tapa bars of Montoro, an interesting town 6 km away. Itâs an unspoilt town that stands on the banks of the Guadalquivir river lined with the typical white houses known in the area. The majestic city of Córdoba is just a half hour drive away and not to be missed.
The accommodation is set on two levels with very simple furniture for easy-going travellers. The ground floor at the patio level offers a very rustic ambiance with thick walls and beamed ceilings. It comprises an open-plan living/dining room, 1 double bedroom, 4 twins, and a fully equipped bathroom. The dining/living room with a dining table for 6 is the ideal spot to gather around the huge open fireplace during the cooler nights in off-season. Stairs lead up to the sun-terrace with the pool on the first floor level where you'll find another open-plan living/dining room with two sofas, 2 armchairs, TV, and an open fireplace. The main kitchen of the cortijo is equipped with a gas hob, an oven, refrigerator/freezer, and a washing machine. One double bedroom and 2 twins are on this floor.
