This is the main house, part of a lovely and peaceful "cortijo" sharing a tempting pool and plenty of garden space with the adjacent Casa Cordoba 005c and the Cottage Cordoba 005b. The accommodation is only 15 minutes away from historic Córdoba. A blend of rustic elements with colourful touches provide a delightful décor.
The villa is situated at the base of the Sierra Morena, 2.5 km from the village of Villarrubia and only 16 km from the majestic city of Cordoba. With lots of space around and no traffic, this is the ideal option for families with children. The attractive swimming pool of 10x5 m is shared with the other guest houses. The beautiful flower-covered pergola is no less inviting. The friendly owners live in the same plot and are devoted to ecological agriculture. They will be happy to show you the cave, an ancient Arabic quarry. The elevated castle of Almodovar del Rio, a 10 minute drive, is another option that speaks to the imagination.
The accommodation is all on one floor and consists of an open-plan kitchen / living / dining room. Simple, rustic furniture blend with colourful elements providing a homy feeling. The living room has a wood-burning stove, 2 sofa-beds, and a rocking chair. The traditional kitchen comes with a dining table for 6, a 3 ringed hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a washing machine. The master bedroom with a double and a single bed sleeps 3 persons, whilst the second bedroom is a twin. On request, two additional persons can sleep on the sofa-beds.
