Amazing villa

This house is absolutely amazing. The villa itself, the barbecue and pool area, the view... it couldn't be better. It is very clean and well kept and has all necessary amenities. The only downside is that the drive down to the villa is a little scary especially the first time because it is quite steep ... but after a few times you will get the hang of it.

Rural spainish accommodation at its very best!

We chose Frigiliana and particularly 'Villa Francisco' for our annual late winter month retreat away from UK weather, and it was paradise. The owner, Francisco was so friendly, helpful and accommodating in every aspect. The villa is at the end of a 'road' that can only be described as a mini adventure. The immediate area is great for a walk and Frigiliana just 15 - 20 minutes away on foot. The owner will show you the quick way through his avocado orchard. Therefore, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The villa is well furnished and extremely comfortable, in fact, all you need to feel at home in the chill evenings with a highly efficient wood burner. It's spanish but that is why we go to Spain in the winter. The local area offers opportunities for all types of walking, with as many challenges as you want. We love walking the rivers, Higueron and Chillar. Acebuchal, 5kms away, is great for a walk and artisan food at the rustic restaurant afterw

Hidden gem in the countryside

The ease of booking with Casitas-Select was perfect. The pictures the websites this villa is advertised on don't do it justice. The owner is unobtrusive but very helpful. (He took us to the nearest supermarket because we arrived on a Sunday) He loves his plants and his villa and this shows. It is immaculate and extremely well equipped and feels like a holiday home not a rental. The pool has filters which automatically come on every evening. We found the one level great and the open plan kitchen/living room really practical. Outside the views are to die for. We sat listening to crickets goat bells and an amusing ass/mule who lives on the hillside and is quite vocal. The dogs barking are a bit distracting but you would hear these anywhere in Frigiliana. You can walk to the village on foot-steep in places but doable. Loved it here are no downsides except the access road which is in bad condition and steep in places. You will need more than a Fiat 500 for those hills!

Fijn huis

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Villa Francisco in Frigiliana. De routebeschrijving was duidelijk, de ontvangst ter plaatse was hartelijk. Het huis was ruim en bijzonder compleet ingericht. Het uitzicht vanuit het huis verveelde geen moment en van het zwembad hebben we erg genoten. En inderdaad konden we lopen naar Frigiliana; zelfs in het donker durfden we het aan. Kortom: een zeer geslaagde vakantie! Bedankt, en, wie weet, willen we volgend jaar weer!

Keurige villa, prima om te relaxen, maar ook centraal gelegen voor wandel en cultuur activiteiten

De villa is zeer goed onderhouden, super schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het tweepersoonsbed zakt wat door in het midden. Vanaf de villa een prachtig uitzicht op Frigiliana. De toegangsweg is spannend, maar goed te doen. Zeer vriendelijke contact persoon ter plaatse.

Happy days

Fully prepared for the drive to the villa . Well worth the effort , the views are amazing from the pool terrace . The house has everything you would want and more . The area has a lot to offer especially a little village called El Acebuchal with a interesting history and a adventurous drive to it . The food at the one restaurant has a old fashion menu . Including rabbit , oxtail and wild boar . We found the beach at Torrox Costa better than Nerja due to the water quality . We have had a lovely 10 days holiday here . Sehr erholsame Ferien

Sehr schönes Haus, großer schöner Pool, schön und bequem eingerichtet. Eines der schönsten Häuser in denen ich bisher war. Hat Moskito Screens, was ich toll finde. Es liegt etwas abseits. Die Gehentfernung zum Dorf ist eher 30 Minuten und um Dunklen nicht machbar, aber wenn man sich an die Anfahrt gewöhnt hat ist es auch mit den Auto kein Problem unterwegs zu sein.

Wonderfully perfect

We so enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was peaceful and idyllic. What a fantastic position looking over to Frigiliana. The villa is beautifully furnished and of a high standard. The pool is lovely and clean and the outdoor kitchen is perfect for a family gathering around the pool. The various places to sit outdoors at the villas are perfect, if you want the sun or shade there is always somewhere to tuck yourself away with a good book. It's perfect for a peaceful holiday if you like to be off the beaten track.

Peaceful, but close to Frigiliana

Villa Francisco is a perfect place to have peaceful and relaxing vacation. The location is great. You are only 10 min walk away from the village of Frigiliana, but still in perfect privacy and away from the rush. The private pool area with attached barbecue gives more value to Villa. We had many nice evenings sitting close to the pool, having barbecue, and admiring the beautiful scenery of the valley and the village! We met the owner every now and then while he came to attend his avocado and mango trees, which surrounded the Villa. He was very helpful and kind. Inside the Villa there is everything there needs to be. We made food mostly ourselves, and kitchen was well equipped, Wi-Fi works and TV as well. Two bathrooms with showers is a luxury! You can even play table tennis on the ground floor a terrace :) The only thing that was not so nice, was the road. It takes 15 minutes by car from Frigiliana to villa. At the first time, the last 800 meters down to the villa is a real adventure,

Lovely villa in a good location

Fantastic villa, well kitted out with a nice view of frigliana. Very comfortable and exceedingly clean. Price seemed a little steep for September but weather was still fantastic. Ultimately weak pound and market rates probably more responsible for this than villa owner!
